01.What is a smart lock?

Answer

A smart lock is an electromechanical lock which is designed to perform locking and unlocking operations on a door when it receives such instructions from an authorized device using a wireless protocol and a cryptographic key to execute the authorization process. It also monitors access and sends alerts for the different events it monitors and some other critical events related to the status of the device. It is considered part of a smart home.

02.Fingerprint can not be recognized by the lock?

Answer

a. Make sure that the fingerprint has been registered on the lock.

b. Check whether the user is within the custom time period.

c. Check the condition of your fingerprint, whether it is stained with sweat, water, or dust, wipe it and try again.


03.What are the benefits that your smart locks bring to users?

Answer

For the smart lock users, the main benefits are convenience and security, they no longer need to bring  a heavy string  of keys with them, they can access their home with their fingerprints, password, cards or their phones. And the smart lock can monitors access and sends alerts for the different events it monitors and some other critical events related to the status of the device, which make the life more security.



04.How to remotely unlock the door for a friend?

Answer

If your friend visit your house when you are not in, and you want your guest enter your house, you can send an one-time temporary password valid for 30 minutes to your friend. (Suitable for APP Lock).



05.How to perform factory reset on the lock?

Answer

Open the battery cover, leave one set of 4 batteries and take one single battery out, then press and hold the Reset Button on the back panel (The position of the reset button varies from different models) and re-install the battery, release the button after you hear the series of tones.

Note: A factory reset will restore the Smart Lock back to its factory setting. Factory resetting the lock will erase all guest and owner data, restoring it back to its original condition.

06.How to change the direction of the lock handle?

Answer

Before installation, push down the button on the back of the front panel and hold it, turn the handle to the different side and then release the button. (Suitable for Model S710, G800, G811)



07.What if the batteries run out of power, can I still open the door?

Answer

You can either use the mechanical override key to open the door or plug-in a 9V battery or USB power bank to the emergency power supply port at the bottom of the outside panel to provide instant power to your smart lock.

08.How long is the battery Life?

Answer

The average battery life is 12 months, the time may varies from 8 to 14 months according to usage frequency.
